‘Unbroken’ is a classic war drama
War drama movies were always my prime pick whenever I plan to book tickets for an evening show. Expectations about ‘Unbroken’ were quite high because it is directed by none other than my favorite actress Angelina Jolie. After watching the movie, I feel much satisfied as this movie was worth the money which I paid in the ticket counter. The movie is a perfect epitome of making classic war dramas, and it literally glued me to the theater seats throughout the running time of 137 minutes. Now, let me share my views about this movie.
The movie showcases a story in the backdrop of World War II. The film features Olympian Louis Zamperini who faces a fatal air crash. As a result, he spent 47 days in the raft along with the two crew men, and finally ended up in the mouth of Japanese army. From there, he was sent to the prison as a war accused.
Angelina Jolie has proved her filmmaking ability in a loud manner through this movie. The lady director was in full swing, and she was well aware of the things she was going to replicate on screen. The actors also did their roles with finesse, and special mention should be given to Jack O’Connell who enacted the role of Louis Zamperini.
The movie currently has an IMDB rating of 7.3/10. ‘Unbroken’ is getting positive response from all corners, and if it goes like this, it will surely spin some money in the box office.
